Keurig OfficePRO Review

I’ve been wanting a Keurig for a VERY long time. With promises of single cups of coffee in a wide range of flavors, sign me up! My husband is a classic black coffee drinker. No cream, no sugar, and god forbid I get flavored coffee. So when I first started to hear about this great thing called the Keurig that let me make as many different flavors of coffee as I wanted, one cup at a time, I had to go seek it out.

My mom got me a Mr. Coffee/Keurig maker for Christmas. It did everything a Keurig did at a cheaper price…or so I thought. There are so many neat things to the Keurig that the cheaper machines just don’t have.Plus, they still use the same K-cups. But if you’re a major coffee drinker, I don’t think it will replace your every day coffee brewer. The K-cups are about 75 cents a piece. That isn’t too bad if you only have one or two cups a day, however my husband alone can go though an entire pot of coffee to himself alone. That’s 12 cups! That’s $9 a day, $63 a week, $252 a month. But for someone like me who enjoys a cup of flavored coffee or cup of tea from time to time, this is the perfect answer.

I love all the choices that I have with the K-cups. Before I would have to make an entire pot of coffee that my husband wouldn’t drink with me. I couldn’t possibly finish it on my own. Then I would have to listen to my husband complain about how his coffee tasted like vanilla for about 3 day after. So now with the K-cups and Keurig in the house I can have as any different flavors as my little heart can handle. Not to mention all the teas, coco, and other fruity flavors.

I love the fact that once the Keurig is on you only have to wait for it to heat up the first time. Then you can brew cup after cup, until you have to fill up the water again. This might not seem like a big deal but my Mr. Coffee would take 5 minutes for every cup. It got so annoying when both my husband and I wanted to have a cup of coffee. I also like the extra cup sizes, although it still doesn’t fill  my bog coffee cups. I know this has been fixed in the Vue. But for what I have I wish there were bigger cup sizes. I like the large water storage. I’m able to get quite a few cups of coffee from one refill. Not that it’s hard to refill the water. But it’s nice to not have to do it daily.

There is extra space for the coffee cup spot too. This is great because I’m able to put my travel mugs in there. Those take a couple of K-cups to fill, but since there is really no time between brewing. It’s not really a problem. Honestly I’m in heaven with my Keurig. I love that the choice to have what I want when I want it. Keurig keeps our house a happy house.

  1. I love my Keurig! I was contemplating whether to get one or not but then I found a really good deal at Kohls and gave in. I am so glad I did because I use it for tea and coffee at least 3 times a day.

  2. I wasn’t convinced whether or not I wanted one of these, but after reading this review, I KNOW I want one now!
